McKinney Community of Christ
We are a community that seeks to share the love of God through Jesus Christ with all whom we meet.
Our services are varied and flexible in order to meet the varied needs of the Community.
All are welcome to bring their gifts to God through our congregation - in music, speaking, dance,
teaching, healing, caring, or any other way that seems appropriate.
Most of our community has e-mail. We use that tool for many of our communications during the week.
Prayer is an important part of our community. Each Sunday we hear announcements, celebrations,
and prayer requests from worshipers.
About Us
The mission of the Church is to "proclaim Jesus Christ and to
promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace."

Our local congregation fulfills this mission by:
Proclaiming Jesus Christ as our Risen Lord
Attempting to live and work in a Christlike manner
Studying scriptures and ways to express God's love in our daily lives
Fellowshipping together on Sunday mornings and at other times
Visiting in each other's homes
Celebrating joys and accomplishments in the lives of our members and friends
Offering comfort in times of sorrow or stress
Worshipping in ways that allow the participation of many persons
Praying for each other, for our friends, and for situations where God is our only refuge.
